Must I Write?

It's officially 1 AM in the morning and I can't sleep! Why not write a blog post about writing? Haha! 

Well here it is! 

Go into yourself. Find out the reason that commands you to write; see whether it spreads its roots into the very depths of your heart; confess to yourself whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write.

Must I write? Yes! Writing is a process. It takes time. It takes patience and dedication. Anyone can pick up a pen and write. Hone your craft and let it take you to the very depths of your soul and beyond. Before you know it, you're writing. It isn't easy, but do it! 

Write an essay, a story, poetry... anything! There's no rules, but grammar. That can be worked on later. For now let yourself flow with the words. Make love to the words. Mush them together and make a finished piece! 

No one is forbidden to write. Write your truth. Write because you know how to. Write because it demands you. Your soul is free to write. 

Lastly, write what's in your inner heart. Get a pen and paper and go deep within yourself and find that niche that makes you unique! Just write!
